Right now... I am back creating and it feels sooo good.

Things you can do with limited supplies. My mind boggles... I love saying that, boggling mind, hehe...

Over the weekend

So what did I get up to over the weekend?

Well Jason and I spent the whole day together on Saturday. That hasn't happened in a while. About 3 months I think. So anyway we checked out the new African Deli, then we went to Gnomes for coffee. We checked out a few Antique stores, did the groceries and cooked Indian together for tea. We both had a really lovely time together and have made a deal to do it more often. We bought these really scrummy African pastry, honey soaked things which I must find out the name of so I can make them.

And speaking of Indian, the new Indian restaurant has finally opened its doors. Yay!!!!!! We have been waiting soooooooooo long. So guess what we had for dinner last night? Yep Indian. We have decided that it is not as good as Bundaberg but is on par with what we've had in Sydney and Brisbane.

Played around with the Embellished 'You are my Sunshine' kit on the weekend. It's so awesome. I love absolutely everything in it. I'm about half way through and this is what I have come up with so far.

And another one which I can't share just yet. I have a couple more on my desk which I will hopefully finish... before too long.

So what else. I have finally stopped working 7 seven days a week. Yay!!! It's now 6 days and 1 night but it does mean that I get a day off to scrap.

Dee has no mojo atm so I doubt you'll be hearing from her. No mojo for scrapping, no mojo for gym. Shes a little flat. And busy with basketball.

Embellished Idol 2008 has started. If you haven't entered be sure to keep an eye on all this fun. The challenges for each round are awesome.

So...how do you work 7 days, gym 6 times a week, wash @ least 2 times a week, spend time with 1 one man, scrap for 2 design teams and have a life????? You don't!!!!

I have worked 7 days, I have been to the gym 3 times, I have not washed and I am wearing the smallest pants in the world as a result (they do remind me not to eat at least), I have not spent anytime with J, I am 1 1/2 pages behind in my scrapbooking and I went out in my pj's incase I fell a sleep.

So life has been very busy for me. A little happiness though. All my hard work has earnt me this fabulously gorgeous new cupboard for my scraproom.

And Dee gets this one for her room.

Guess where we went today. To Embellished of course! They had a massive order come in and we picked up some cool new stuff to play with.

And we've pre-ordered some stuff for the next big order. Our budget wouldn't let us buy everything day. Oh well. We can wait.

We're off to Sydney next week to meet our very first niece. Sweet baby Sienna. Here's a pic.

Working for the furniture

Well what's happened to my Saturday's you ask? Or at least you would if you knew I haven't been around on Saturdays for a while. Well I've been working in a friends antique store/coffee shop in exchange for new/old furniture to beautify our house. So this is what all my hard work is getting us first. Isn't she beautiful?

Speaking of beautiful here is a pic of a flower in our garden atm.

Over Easter J & I spent a whole weekend in the garden tidying up a bit. It's such a huge job so we decided to focus on one area at a time.

We had an accident involving a dog, a broken trolley and a cupboard.

We're not bad owners I promise. All the old ladies at the vet were gushing over how cute Saabie is. She was certainly pleased with all the attention.

a dress for j's dads wedding in couple of weeks. pink shoes, who knew i needed 2 pairs.

thats all the shopping to show, for now!! hehe, i was (we were) very very bad.

TODAY:

it has been a slow and steady mission, to purge and spring clean as we unpack in our new place. today i tackled the 2nd bedroom. DONE.

in the process i found these. my version of 27 dresses. hehe

on the left we have, not a wedding dress (we're not married), it's a bridesmaid dress from about 8 years ago. i was around 20 kilos heavier at the time, so this was like a sack. it is now going to vinnies (minus several metres of pink tulle from underneath that could come in handy for SOMETHING i'm sure)

on the right, my graduation dress!!! how amazing it was to me, that i pulled it on and it was too BIG. i couldnt believe that i am smaller now than i was in 1992 (yes i graduated 16 years ago). i didnt pile on my weight until way after school and was quite smallish throughout it. so anyway, was so happy with myself that i wore it all morning while i cleaned. hehe

LAST NIGHT:

we scrapped @ the shoppe. i had the best night. heaps of laughs and a bit of work done. yay

here's a little pile of background goodness that i have ready to play with.

you'll notice that it's all on the floor... not for long though. my dad is coming round to help me finish off a bench that i won at the TENDER CENTRE recently. i plan for it to be my painting/sewing table. will have before and afters soon.

im back. i missed you. i have been so so so busy. so news since i last posted......

I moved house

A month....

Well a whole month has passed and no post from us. How did that happen. I'm sure I only just blinked and the end of February was here already. I'm not sure if I can remember what has happened for a full month but I will try.

Most recently Dee has been to Brissy for some family time and I have been, I wish I could say scrapping up a storm, but I've actually been watching the cricket. Yes that's right, I watch the cricket. I'm going to somehow work it next year so that I have cricket season off from scrapbooking. Splitting my time between the 2 is hard considering the length of a cricket match. I have managed to scrap a little though.

We are going to give her some Ikea love in 3 weeks!!!!! Yippee!!!!!! We are off to visit Kaylee and go to the Brissy Paper Crafts festival with the lovely Embellished girls. Can't wait. Mmmmmm plane food.

I've also been playing with the Embellished March kit this past weekend. Dee also scored herself a guest spot this month. I'm super excited for her. We get to work together. Yay!!! The kits @ Embellished are gorgeous and I love every single one of them. Here are a couple of sneaky peaks. Shhhh - don't tell. I can see March just around the next corner so I'm sure it's ok.

I told you the kits are yummy! So if you would like to play with the monthly kits and join me and the other girls they are currently looking to fill two new DT positions. i had no idea that my life til now had been incomplete...

on sunday.... i discovered the "TENDER CENTRE"....

and i didnt realise when i bid on it, but after i picked it up, for a measly $12, i tested and lookie at the font.... oh my, i am in love...

i bid on a few other bits and pieces but missed out. and that is when i realised i must have them

i found my dream scrap table and a church pew, that i MUST have, and they didnt reach their minimum price. so i will be back next fortnight. and they WILL be mine...

so in 2 weeks, i WILL be posting pics of these most amazing items, oh yes, they will be mine.

aaahhhhhh... tender center.... where have you been all my life.

oh and i also got a box full of wood. so what?? it included 2 drawers from an old singer sewing table. also sooo cool. no pics yet cos Kirsty's Jason is giving them a little fix up. aaahhhh...

So long...

Well it's been so long since I posted that I'm not sure I remember how. We'll see how we go.

So far this year I have managed to keep on top of my deadlines and get a fair bit of scrapping done. I'll share a bit further down. Dee has also got her mojo back and will be starting work on some projects this weekend. Hooray for Dee! It's been a little while and I'm missing her gorgeous work.

Christmas, New Year and Jason's birthday was very full on. Looking forward to some healthy eating and some chillin' at home time. We are at home all weekend and I plan on cooking up a storm! I'm making olive and feta crusted lamb, salt and pepper squid, ham cherry tomato and boccocini frittata and mediterranean chicken bake. Yummo! Notice the absence of cupcakes, biscuits and slices? Dee and I plus a couple of friends are 1 week into a 12 week challenge to make positive changes to our eating and exercise habits. Wish us luck. It's been 4 days and I'm already dreaming about what I can eat in the next life.

Jason and I have a homewares agreement this year. We are only buying things for the house this year. Our aim is to make our house beautiful. I can imagine a trip to Ikea is on the cards for me. Sadly, scrapbooking supplies do not come under the homewares clause.

yes, 2.5 kgs of butter. i feel like i have just pasted it to me hips, thighs and butt. so to share the joy of xmas and brown sugar shortbread, below is just a few of the little pressies that i made for my beautiful friends.

other joy, my secret santa gift from Kath - the little dude here is a walking penguin pooper. you wind him up and he drops little lollies out his backside whilst going for a walk. so funny

and meet my new friend - hubert!!! he was handmade with love by kirsty (with a little help from her mum, thanks mum) . oh how i love him.

all us lucky lucky people at WIN Television got a huge surprise this chrissy. we received not 1 but 2 hampers. (wen normally we get zero). so exciting. this one was from our new boss in Rocky, geoff rocks.

some stuff we've been up to...

like most people this time of year we've been pretty busy. lots of chrissy parties, secret santas and over indulging. in the middle of all this, jamie and i are still trying to sell our apartment, but have just worked out that we dont have to move into our other place this coming week, as we've put it off till the end of january. yay, i was really stressed just by the thought.

1 of my parties was at the bowling alley. i am completely terrible at bowling but had huge fun...

with my friends who all used to work with me at video ezy many many years ago now. luv catching up with them all still.

another party was ally's housewarming (in the middle). she moved into our building and works with us at WIN. also huge fun...

the next day however, not so fun. yes hungover, but also thought i had LOST my engagement ring for about 12 hours. no sleep, just looking through rubbish and down drains etc. i feel physically sick just thinking about it. jamie picked my ring all by himself and i just love love love it, so yes insurance would cov er the cost but it would never be the same. anyway, i found it in the pocket of some pants and i was getting dressed to walk down the street looking for it on the side of the road. it has been a bit too big since i got it, so this has been a wake up call to go get it re-sized, yes

bought my xmas dress this week. pretty pretty pretty. funny story though. kath, kirst and i, all bought the same dress. kath is cutting off the bottom frill, kirsty is cutting it off short and sewing the straps over instead of leaving the halter top and i am cutting the top off entirely to make a strapless maxi. so 3 same but different dresses for christmas.

last night kirsty and jason came over for dinner. they bought over butter chicken and naan. i made a thai beef salad entree and choc caramel ravioli for dessert. yum yum. the boys played guitar hero and us girls made these little pretties

i havent done any scrappin in ages and ages. my room is like a bomb hit it. i am still suffering from the "my house is way too small for all my supplies and clothes" thing. so i have come up with a solution. i am going to play with this for a while.

this book has the craziest stuff in it and i'm gonna play and post as much as i can until i move into my new home (aka new scrap room)

So what's been happening the last week I hear you say? Not much.

Work has settled down for the moment.

Dee and I have $10 bets going over the weekends that we won't eat any junk outside of xmas parties. Last weekend was the first and we were both well behaved so we each got $10 to spend at Embellished this weekend. Here we come girls! We have also made a pact not to bake morning tea until next year. Which is sad because I love to bake. Baking makes me happy, but eating it makes me fat which makes me sad. A vicious cycle of happy, sad, happy, sad.

For the first time in a long while I did not do a scrap of scrapping on the weekend. It was unreal. I just hung out like a normal person. I flopped on the couch, went to the markets, walked thru a few nurseries, spent some quality time with my boy, visited my parents. I had the best weekend! And on top of all that I got all my xmas presents made! I can't share them just yet because then 'you know who' will know what she is getting. There is also something coming your way Ali, Ang and Kaylee!

The endless season of xmas parties, xmas drinks and secret santas has started already. A xmas party and a dinner date with friends last week kicked it all off. I love catching up with everyone before they all head off to their families and holidays but it is exhausting. I may have to bring my bedtime forward half an hour or so to stock up on sleep now.

Last night we took the first load od xmas to my parents to go under the tree. Yes that's right - my mum has her xmas tree up already! Jason has the biggest present again, and dad is more excited about it then anyone.

I have some lovely new recipes to try out. We are having our annual xmas morning tea at work in a few weeks and I am making savoury biscuits. They sound absolutely divine! Can't wait to see how they turn out. I going to make walnut and date biscotti and romano oat crumbles. Does it get any better? Dee is the quenn of shortbread and she is making her melt-in-your-mouth brown sugar shortbread. My tastebuds are doing a happy dance already! Don't worry, we'll share some piccies when the time comes.

earlier this year, kirsty, kaylee and i, decided to make a gift

for a friends 21st bday / going away party

what we came up with was a bag full of funked up playing cards. colour scheme and theme on the front. message / journalling space on the back

sophie was going to live in canada for a while, so our theme/colour combo, was easy

AUSTRALIA

something for her to look at and remind her of home

i totally love this idea and it worked soooo well. on the night, sophie looooved them, friends and family wrote messages on them, and now sophie has a baggie full of love

heres the cards i made

kirsty made a cute felt bag for them and both other girls did cards as well

so these were so fun and easy to make and such a big hit that we made some for kaths 21st

the baggie was my job this time, just looking at it made me happy

Hi All,

It's been awhile I hope you haven't forgotten about me. Dee is just the bestest! Keeping our blog updated, reassuring me when I'm flat, encouraging me to keep going and driving me all over town! Thankyou! Mwah, mwah.

this week ive been on holidays. mostly because jamies sister was coming to visit and then a few more days to just veg. so heres what i got up to....

we had the best day and have declared that you should be able to wear a fascinator EVERY day cos they're sooo pretty.

Well I am back from my training trip in Wollongong and I am exhausted. There was so much info jammed into one week that I am mentally fatigued. I just can't seem to function at all. I have always been an early to bed type person, but 7pm? What the? I think after this weekend I will be all back to normal. firstly, a very rare treat for us. a photo together at kathryns 21st last saturday night.

i got this and these girls earlier book, visual chronicles. plus the dares book.

i have 2 say, i have been really looking forward to this delivery, but had no idea how much i would love them. linda and karen = holy shit i cant even think. i am beside myself and cant put stop looking.

so today, i will rise up create (if i can put the book down long enough) i'll keep you posted.

and this little number below is a purchase i made today, after which i decided, yes, i am going to the caulfield cup races.

i must accessorise this week, as i obviously have absolutely nothing to go with it.

- jamies sister is visiting next weekend, cant wait to see her and hang out (in our pretty new dresses)

I have used a safety pin, a piece of my shower curtain (top left formimg flower), dental floss to stitch around the number 5, coloured hairspray to create bg, hair bands, a strip of libra box and a compression badage net thing!

firstly, jamie bought these home for me last week!

they were my first krispy kreme's ever!!! and now they are gone!!!

last week was berry, berry busy for me at work. on monday there was no lunch break and there was overtime (late night) then i came home to KRISPY KREMES.

don't tell anyone, but i ate them for dinner (yes, that was all i ate that day), i ate them for breakfast (i wanted them gone), i ate a birthday cupcake for morning t, then ate dohnuts for lunch, oh yeah and dinner..... eeeekkk... and i wondered why were people asking "why so much more happy than usual" (like a stupid grin and giggling for 24 hours straight), maybe the sugar high. not normal for me, but very enjoyable at the time.

and i have things not to tell you too..... i hate keeping secrets, i don't think i'm very good at it, but let that keep you from telling me things ok, but i have 2 berry berry big secrets and can't wait til we can share them with you.

haven't been creating lately. think i overloaded.. but i'll be back

i am so so so happy it's the weekend......

jamie is away at the big GF in Sydney and i am alone for 4 days. i plan to exercise, scrap, relax and paint. today i had this overwhelming feeling that i want to sit in the patio area outside (yes i said outside) with all my paints and just see what happens. been feeling inspired by stuff like this, this and this.

Dee and I have been incredibly busy scrapping for the last 5 days. So many deadlines so little time. If only I didn't have to go to work. In the middle of all the scrapping chaos I tried to relearn how to crochet. It took me a while, and considering I was never that great, I am happy with the results. I will share my efforts when I get around to taking a piccy.

Hi Everyone,

Firstly I'll start be saying congratulations Bryson, Tammy and baby Kiana. The wedding was really low key, relaxed and very , very personal. The wedding stress was absent, the focus on love, family and committment strong and everyone just had a really good time. Way to go guys!!!!

Also, thank you Dee and the rest of the girls for the birthday wishes, presents and helping me celebrate yesterday. I'll post some pics from tea and my birthday later on.

Hey Kirsty, it's me, Dee......

I knew that i would be the first to not post in consecutive days. So there you go it's done. I missed it, a whole day with no blogging. And a really important one. Kirsty's Birthday!!!!!

I did remember you over here though so i think that counts.

Why did i forget our blog yesterday you might ask.

This weekend i have soooo much to do. I am cleaning the apartment, cos someone is coming to take photos tomorrow to put it on the market. ka-ching $$$$$... I have scrappin deadlines, this weekend i hope to finish this, and this. Good news on those 2, i have finished one and have things STUCK DOWN on the other. I also have on my list a couple of other challenges, here and here. Plus i have 4 little gift projects to finish really soon. So im under the hammer. But i did it to myself cos i just luv all these things to do.

Then my parentals came over to watch the footy last night and i couldnt watch from my scrap room, that would be very rude. Boohoo for the Cowboys....... I wanted to give Thurston a big hug.

Had to shop and print photos for all my pages aswell. So wish me luck with my weekend, i feel like im gonna need it.

Anyway i'd better get movin and get ready for our HIGH T party. Can't wait.

A little toilet humour today....

Read this when I got to work this morning and thought it was hilarious!!! Hopefully it adds a little sunshine to your Friday morning too!

ISN'T THIS THE TRUTH ??????
When you have to visit a public bathroom, you usually find a line of women, so you smile politely and take your place. Once it's your turn, you check for feet under the stall doors. Every stall is occupied. Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the stall. You get in to find the door won't latch. It doesn't matter, the wait has been so long you are about to wet your pants! The dispenser for the modern "seat covers" (invented by someone's Mom, no doubt) is handy, but empty. You would hang your purse on the door hook, if there was one, but there isn't - so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, (Mom would turn over in her grave if you put it on the FLOOR!), yank down your pants, and assume " The Stance." In this position your aging, toneless thigh muscles begin to shake. You'd love to sit down, but you certainly hadn't taken time to wipe the seat or lay toilet paper on it, so you hold "The Stance." To take your mind off your trembling thighs, you reach for what you discover to be the empty toilet paper dispenser. In your mind, you can hear your mother's voice saying, "Honey, if you had tried to clean the seat, you would have KNOWN there was no toilet paper!" Your thighs shake more. You remember the tiny tissue that you blew your nose on yesterday - the one that's still in your purse. (Oh yeah, the purse around your neck, that now, you have to hold up trying not to strangle yourself at the same time). That would have to do. You crumple it in the puffiest way possible. It's still smaller than your thumbnail Someone pushes your door open because the latch doesn't work. The door hits your purse, which is hanging around your neck in front of your chest, and you and your purse topple backward against the tank of the toilet. "Occupied!" you scream, as you reach for the door, dropping your precious, tiny, crumpled tissue in a puddle on the floor, lose your footing altogether, and slide down directly onto the he TOILET SEAT It is wet of course. You bolt up, knowing all too well that it's too late. Your bare bottom has made contact with every imaginable germ and life form on the uncovered seat because YOU never laid down toilet paper - not that there was any, even if you had taken time to try. You know that your mother would be utterly appalled if she knew, because, you're certain her bare bottom never touched a public toilet seat because, frankly, dear, "You just don't KNOW what kind of diseases you could get." By this time, the automatic sensor on the back of the toilet is so confused that it flushes, propelling a stream of water like a fire hose against the inside of the bowl that sprays a fine mist of water that covers your butt and runs down your legs and into your shoes. The flush somehow sucks everything down with such force that you grab onto the empty toilet paper dispenser for fear of being dragged in too. At this point, you give up. You're soaked by the spewing water and the wet toilet seat. You're exhausted. You try to wipe with a gum wrapper you found in your pocket and then slink out inconspicuously to the sinks. You can't figure out how to operate the faucets with the automatic sensors, so you wipe your hands with spit and a dry paper towel and walk past the line of women still waiting. You are no longer able to smile politely to them. A kind soul at the very end of the line points out a piece of toilet paper trailing from your shoe. (W here was that when you NEEDED it??) You yank the paper from your shoe, plunk it in the woman's hand and tell her warmly, "Here, you just might need this."
As you exit, you spot your hubby, who has long since entered, used, and left the men's restroom. Annoyed, he asks, "What took you so long, and why is your purse hanging around your neck?" This is dedicated to women everywhere who deal with a public restrooms (rest??? you've GOT to be kidding!!).
It finally explains to the men what really does take us so long. It also answers their other commonly asked questions about why women go to the restroom in pairs. It's so the other gal can hold the door, hang onto your purse and hand you Kleenex under the door! This HAD to be written by a woman! No one else could describe it so accurately!

Dee & I are going to the Embellished Girls Night Out tonight - can't wait! And I'm going to a wedding at 9am, yes 9am in the morning, tomorrow so I should have some pretty pics to share on Sunday!

A Heads Up on Spring/Summer

Hi-ya,

So the day after the fashion parade........Sadness for Dee she didn't buy a single thing! Before the parade we were like (in a very excited voice with facial expressions to match) 'I'm going to buy a dress, & pants, & a shirt, & accessories, & a bag' & so on..you get the jist. But, nothing was really doing it for us. In desperation a bought a Wish dress, which I like and I'll get a lot of wear out of it but it didn't make me go 'WOW!!!!!' & it was old stock & not featured in the parade.

Oh well at leastI bought something. Actually I bought some really cute shoes too. The most amazing part, as Kath said, I bought them from a 'grown up' shop. Yes that's right I wear kids shoes. It sux! Cheap but sux! I need shoes to wear with a cocktail dress atm and I don't think red polka dot canvas shoes with blue rhinestones are going to cut it somehow! Anyway my 'grown up' shoes (which need adjustment & are a little bit big for me).

So yes, I love Billy for giving me my shoes!

A nothing Monday

Today is a nothing type of Monday. Nothing exciting, nothing bad, nothing that overly enthuses me...just a nothing type of day!

And the recipe for 'the slice' that I made last week. If I was chewing on a piece of this right now, I can tell you that I would be obscenely excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chocolate, Pecan and Coconut Slice Recipe

250g packet Nice biscuits

120g butter or margarine, melted125g milk chocolate, chopped into small chunks

90g pecan nuts, chopped

80g (1 cup) coconut

395g tin condensed milk

Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Celsius fan-forced). Line an approximately 18cm x 28cm baking dish/tin with baking paper.Crush biscuits in a blender or food processor. Combine crushed biscuits and melted butter (we do this in the saucepan that we melted the butter in). Press firmly into the lined dish.Sprinkle base with chocolate chunks and chopped pecans.Sprinkle over coconut.Drizzle with condensed milk, covering as much of the coconut as possible.Bake for about 35 minutes, until lightly golden on top. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold and set. Remove from tin and cut into squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

went to a cafe after thai dinner the other night for coffee and cake. nothing looked good for me so i had a diet coke. very dissapointing. next morning decided i couldn't live another moment without having something wicked to make up for it. hence this for brunch with the girls:

tropical mango splicey thing and caramel cheesecake. yum yum

my guy plays netball. he's a gun. i luuurve watching him play. ahhhhhh. hotness to me.... al sweaty and aggresive. (did someone say it's not a contact sport?)

all done. and before i go, i have to say we are loving this thing called blog.

Kaylee was offered a job in Brissy Thursday night, which is great for her, not so great for us, so we went out for dinner to celebrate/commisserate! So congratulations Kaylee, we wish you the best of luck and look forward to you coming home for visits. Dinner was superb and to make you all a little hungry here are some pics....

Checkin in late today. Just got home from dinner with the girlies. Kirsty, Kaylee, Kath and I went for Thai n coffee.

I planned to be posting some pics that Ali took when we went to shoot for our tv segment but I left the cd at work.

it's a little sneak peak of a mini book that i'm in the middle of. Jamie and my's (is that how you say it?) friends Kev n Hayley had a little baby girl 6 whole months ago and this is my very belated pressie. It will have to knock their socks off to make up for the lateness and I think i'm doin good so far.......???

Not much happening for us today. Both having a pretty crappy time at work - all generated from the same person.

And saw an awesome, but wicked recipe that I thought I would share:

Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding with Butter Rum Sauce

2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

2 (4.5-ounce) cans fruit cocktail (undrained)

2 eggs, beaten 1 (9-ounce) box raisins

1 pinch salt

1 or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Cube donuts into a large bowl. Pour other ingredients on top of donuts and let soak for a few minutes. Mix all ingredients together until donuts have soaked up the liquid as much as possible.Bake for about 1 hour until center has jelled. Top with Butter Rum Sauce.

Butter Rum Sauce: 1 stick butter 1 pound box confectioners' sugar Rum, to tasteMelt butter and slowly stir in confectioners' sugar. Add rum and heat until bubbly. Pour over each serving of Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding

Today Jamie signed a contract for a new job that we are both very excited about. It's happy days and happy news. The job is in Rocky!!! Yay for us, we don't have to move. There have been job applications happening for a while, all over Australia and even NZ. But i'm sooo happy that this perfect job is right here at home. Congratulations Jamie, I love you and things are looking up!!!!

We went grocery shopping last night straight from gym, which is never a good idea, although people do stay out your way, and while I was waiting at the checkout Jason went off to 'get' something and came back in with a bunch of flowers! Isn't he the sweetest?

Sunday Markets

Set the alarm & took myself off to the markets today. I went to stock up on the cutest handmade pottery buttons that you have ever laid eyes on. Also got a million plants which I am neither planting or watering, but I will admire them from time to time. Gardening is not really my thing but I do enjoy having a nice garden! Anyway I'll share the buttons with you-

Isn't it the coolest top!!!! I took this photo with my phone while out shopping today. I think you'll all probably see a page coming up with this used somehow.

I love finding inspiration in fashion and mags. And have taken to writing things down or taking sneaky pics to help me remember them (even if i'm driving, ssshhh).
